It is going to be a more difficult market to dominate. 20" is the fat bike market so no comfort there.
Most sales will likely go to existing 16" owners.

Mrs Tkk was going to use the 14 speed Rohloff from her Roberts touring bike as a donor for upgrading her Brompton via Kinetics. Decided against that after seeing and having a play with a T line when we were at the BWC in London few months ago. We've recently sold a couple of Bromptons and put the money in her T line fund, the Rohloff Roberts is up for sale and that will go into the kitty ( if it ever sells ) . Be interesting to see how the G line compares, though it's the weight and size that appeals with the T line.

I was chatting to a couple of Rohloff owners though not Brompton ones.
The Birdy guy felt he needed a lower gear whilst the other bike, a self design incorporated a 2 speed in the bottom bracket(schlumph drive) to get round the gearing problem, something more noticeable up north.

The Alfine hub will have that issue too, though obviously should be fine for rides to the station.
Strangely, my mega painful hip at the moment feels near fully recovered. Whilst following near every bit of health science going, I suspect the sore point of issue was spinning in low gears.

Wish they'd just get on and launch it - quite keen to try it out

Indeed. Definitely on the weighty side but will be curious to see and try it in the flesh. Anyone seen any info on the folded dimensions? Couldn't find anything in the info released to date.

It will be interesting to understand the detail eg. Carbon fork? Are the hinge pins and rear triangle pivot the same as 16 inch Brompton.
