Here is my terraced abode for some feathered critturs.

I'm hoping some posh birds move in the Spring..

If you are hoping for blue tits, I think you may need to up the residences from a terrace to detached, with some degree of their own land. Blue tits can be territorial, particularly during the breeding season.

Gotta ask why you have it.
Use it for condoms? S/he will surely swoon as you flash the subtle branding?
Or wonder if that's a pen you've just got out?
It’s a long story, which I am almost certain that no one would be interested.

Those metal flasks are a thing of beauty though, so you get a free pass on those surely. I always feel they should be carrying dinosaur DNA or atomic material.

I am always in awe of flasks and the way they keep hot things hot, and cold things cold. Amazing. Do you know what I keep in mine? A cup of tea and a choc ice.

OH has a fancy bean to cup coffee machine but I don't count that as pretentious as he uses it every day.

I have blue, coal and great tits, plus two other more mundane nesting boxes. Hopefully, something will like at least one of them!
I know what you mean re territorial whilst nesting.

I fell in love with the Stanley when I saw Humphrey Bogart use one. He was playing Philip Marlow doing an all night stake-out in his Willys sedan, or maybe a Chrysler Airflow. I had a Stanley for many years, but rarely used it -too heavy for a cyclist!
