Pigeon Deterrent.... Any ideas?

I have a couple of feeders in the garden, feeding mixed seed to the sparrows. The pigeons generally hang around, and eat all the spilled food, as the sparrows seem to spill about 3 for every one they eat.
I am not a fan of pigeons, but they seem to appreciate the food.......

A bird table like this should deter Pigeons



The idea being that small birds can access the seed but the larger pigeon can't get at it.

I've taken the tray off our bird feeder and moved the arms around so pigeons can't land anywhere.
Even the squirrels can't reach anything. All they can do is feed on what the Starlings drop.
Nothing stops the Starlings..

We've introduced a bird feeder in our back garden since the lockdown began for the children to watch the small birds feed.
However its also introduced some pigeons into the garden, which are becoming a nuisance.

Does anyone here know of a humane way to deter them...?

Put a balloon of chicken wire or mesh around any bird table or feeder- the larger birds can't get in but the little ones can. Doesn't look very attractive but it's effective.
