From the most expensive to the other end of the scale. What about barber's rubbing alcohol, cheap as chips and a pleasant smell?

EP90 mixed with muddy pond water can be quite distinctive but is an odour I have worn many times over the years. It is as good as the best quality expensive perfumes in the lingering stakes, lasts on skin for days and can take months and dozens of washes to come out of clothes.

Yes, it really is a disgustingly distinctive smell. I also once bought a transfer box off a drowned water board Defender 110 and the EP90 inside had mixed with sucked-in water and gone green and opaque, with an extraordinarily strong smell of garlic, which I put down to some kind of bacterial growth in the warm oil and water mix. This is why body creams and lotions have to have a good preservative system.

It's the time of year when everybody seems to up the ante, in terms of usage of these things, and people buy them for folk. Do you bother? What's your favourite.

I have two fragrances that I'm not allergic to.

This ( Creed Green Irish Tweed )

And this.

Escentric Molecules, Escentric 01.

What's yours?
Love both of them but my favourite Creed is the Aventus which I love. Any man who doesn't wear aftershave is ceding a stage of the attraction process as most women will tell you that they don't tend to give too much credence to a fellow who doesn't bother to look after himself.

Real men should smell of Swarfega, old motor oil and Players Navy Cut.

A visitor to Chateau Fnaar left behind half a likkle bokkle of some bloke - scent 6 years ago. I used it once, going to a party, only to hear people say 'blimey, someone's used too much aftershave! "
I figured I'm not really an aftershave person. I still have the bokkle, but there is only a wee bit left. I think it's evaporated over the years.
Unless Miss Goodbody has been using it as some kind of pheromone thing.

I know Miss Goodbody doesn't tolerate any laxness in personal grooming and has been known to leave a suitor somewhat deflated if he doesn't use a close cropping personal hair remover down there followed up by a good dose of Eau Sauvage.
