A "lightweight" ex (British) army Landrover evidently visiting from Austria. Presumably the Austrian army would have bought something local

I used to see a lot of those about, but they seemed to have mostly disappeared from the roads.

Probably ex- BAOR, I think they sold em off locally rather than bring em back to Blighty

This, UK Military spec lights, bumper bar and a bridging plate on the grille, UK type black/green camo paint job, definitely think it’s from BAOR

Classic cars are a "strange" thing for me these days. I seem to be getting closer to buying one, a specific make/model/version that I used to have back in my early 20's. A nostalgia thing but I keep swaying between being keen and not so keen.

I already have a car and the classic wouldn't replace it. But I hardly drive my existing car anyway (weekly supermarket trip is the principle distance these days) so were I to get a classic either my existing car would become even less used or the classic would sit there as a project to "look nice" and I then question myself as to "why".

Just can't stay being positive enough for long enough to start taking real steps (beyond having already setup e-mail alerts from Car & Classic web site as new ones get put on the market.

Further complicated as my garage is used as a workshop and it's an old enough model to not like sitting outside being rarely used forever so probably have to make some sort of base and get a "car tent" ...

Dreadful things, although thr 24v V6 was a halfway decent engine.

The saloon shared the same front glass and scree as then original mk1 Granada, that's how much life they squeezed out of that old RWD platform.

Heated windscreen though.
And went ok in v6 form..
