I am currently watching what I can only assume is Olympic level break-dancing. While I can let that fact that this is considered an Olympic discipline slide, I swear I saw better efforts on Blue Peter back in the day.

I believe this is dropped for the next Olympics.

I’ve slept in. I was hoping to get out for an early walk before the men’s marathon which starts at 7am. Presumably it will be Kenyans or Ethiopians in the first three. Don’t think GB has any strong contenders.

We did well and finished 4th. Was 2nd with 10K to go.

I think if he had paced himself slightly better on the climb, and just let Tola go, he might have had something left in the legs to maybe have got a bronze. Great in hindsight.

Probably a whole can of hairspray. And a load of glitter. I wouldn't want to be combing that out of my hair, I tell ya!

Although I was frustrated at times with the BBC coverage I thought they did a really good job with considerably less access than they've had in the past. I suspect there will be even less in LA which is a shame.

Looking forward to the closing ceremony, the opener was immense. Snoop better be involved somehow!
