Although I was frustrated at times with the BBC coverage I thought they did a really good job with considerably less access than they've had in the past. I suspect there will be even less in LA which is a shame.

Looking forward to the closing ceremony, the opener was immense. Snoop better be involved somehow!

The current arrangements begun with the 2018 Winter Olympics and continue to the 2032 Summer Olympics in Brisbane.

I thought the LA bit was kind of weird. Like, all these absolute megastars and a tiny wee crowd? Having lived there it felt very un-LA!

It was good to see the encouragement to get people supporting the Paralympics in a couple of weeks. That doesn't always happen which I think is a great shame.

On the Paralympics, I read that part of their rules is competitors can't have visible tattoos of anything Olympic related because their logo changes, unlike the rings. Seems a bit of a shame, but the Paralympic logos over the years have been a bit terrible to be honest.

I have to admit I laughed when I saw the '58 - '72 one, purely in a "Can you imagine the outrage if they tried that now?" kind of way. It's probably the best one too, certainly clearer than a random squiggle.

I wonder how much they paid a design consultancy to tweak the brightness on the latest version?

Well, no. And there's nothing wrong with the message, but I can guarantee there would be complaints about the wheels being limited/exclusionary.

To be fair, they've tightened up the crescents as well. It was done by Scholz & Friends, who ironically have one of the most inaccessible websites I've seen for a while: https://www.s-f.family/en/
