TMN and Jefmcg are both offered a robust female point of view.
I miss both of their POVs. Had a few run-ins with TMN on certain subjects but on the whole, she was an asset to the forum. (the quote under my avatar is from her

I don't remember jefmg so much but I do miss TMN.
I liked Dellzeqq as well, despite his bizzare hatred for mudguards and cycle paths.
Also- Broken Flipflop and his legendary interactions with the binmen!
I also often wonder what happened to the contributor with poor health who moved to Canberra and disappeared= Ace something. I hope she's doing well.
Everytime I see a horse rider on the cycletrack, I think of Broken Flip Flop  ...I'd forgotten about his bin men rants.

Hello decadence
What happened to that miserable old bloke from Brighton who drank lots of beer, played cricket and complained about dog walkers leaving their plastic poo bags on trees?

Still doing all of the above....
I’ve suddenly realised that my description could apply to anyone of about 50 people on here.

I, for one, am glad Rocky disappeared......nasty opinionated bloke. And he was the only member to ride his bike less frequently than you, Potsy.......
don't remember rocky - maybe don't spend enough time on here or stay away from certain bits for long periods.
I have long had the feeling that many of the most active and problematical folks don't actually ride their bikes much. Tis the reason I am sure why some block ready access to their profile so that you can't easily see their posting areas/histories. No good reason for that I have ever been aware of.
No great problem though - the truth about the warped will filter out. Just as it does with folk offline.

Bonj, there there was a character you wont forget. Endless fun and disagreements, always one to stir things up but not generally in a hateful way.(imho)

Regulator's 'resignation' post was something to behold.
didn't see it.
something about him being the chosen one?
with a pic of saint sebastian (?) - inspirer of many trashy ridiculous paintings for 2,000 years - always a delight to see them when visiting a gallery.

One and the same.
Using an old avatar he used on here
yes.
and that other place is the smallest of small ponds.
I pretty much left it years ago after some spectacularly smallpond crap.
This place is far far healthier - bigger pond.
By the by I don't remember the majority of the folk mentioned in this thread - not sure what that says.

I DO remember someone from (I think) north east london - was very regularly bullied - at least one or two times I stepped in to defend him, quite often from some of the poisonous exes referred to above.
Then later he tried to bully me!
nowt so queer as folk.

But it does confirm to me that this place is relatively healthy/like offline life.
