Marmion was the only CCer I've ever met in person. Though I didn't know it at the time.I only knew three, and I've just noticed that Marmion has been corrected to Marion.![]()

@classic33
and @roadrash once came to my house to pick up some handlebars.
Thanks. I've been trying to remember for several years.That was Mistral, just found a post from him on an old thread I was looking at when looking through my content.
You're welcome.Thanks. I've been trying to remember for several years.
I was just looking at a post about a Bianchi bike,when i thought about poster Big on a Bianchi
....and I thought the OP wanted to address the aged members still on the forum rather than discuss past membersOh . I thought you wanted us to talk about our willies 😷
I didn't say that. 😂Are you suggesting that Classic is actually a real person![]()
He didn't do the RAA, he did the coast to coast. He then moved to Cyprus and set up a cycling business. He still pops in here every now and again.He's still around & doing ok. I've never actually met him, but we do occasionally exchange messages. Still cycling a fair bit, did the trans America race last year I think it was & writes a few songs, plays guitar. Seem to remember he came from the mass exodus off the old C+ forum, know as Big Tall Fat Bloke back in them days. Don't know why he isn't on here much nowadays 🤔
Patrick used his proper name as his User Name before changing to Naturalist.Patrick was a solicitor from over that way, the one who's pursuit of Arch was legendary.

Without checking, I think his name was Gary or Gaz or something like that.Actually I've just thought of another two.
Who was the guy who went from something like 30 stone down to 11, worked in an office near Man City's ground?
I sold him a waterproof, and also collected a frame for him from a member who lived near Oswestry, his name escapes me as well.
