In 1734 a group of Welsh Miners from Blaenau Ffestiniog visited London, and promptly began mining the underground. They took the trains and rails back to Wales and built a railway up Snowdon.
After his observations Newton came up with not only his theory of gravity but also invented the pie 🥧 chart. The pie chart is used to this day in chip shops throughout the UK.
