Not even 100 miles on my new bike and a puncture!

My Boardman Hybrid Pro came with Maxxis Detonators 700x28, when I got it in May 2010.
They lasted 2 miles on the local cycle path before the first P.

I swapped to 700x28 Marathon Plus and ran them until Feb 2011 - zero punctures but I got fed up with the weight.

So in Feb 2011 I replaced the Mara + with Continental Gatorskin Ultras (700x25) - only had one P since then, day before yesterday.

So thumbs up for both Mara + and Conti Gators from me

When the farmers used shears attached to the tractors most of the cuttings fell to the ground on the verge. Now they use a flail it spreads it all over the damn road. I'd love to sue the beggars for the damage and inconvenience, they're quick enough to complain if some moron blocks the entrance to a field with a car.

It would be poetic justice if the moron had left his car blocking the field because he had got a puncture.
