Here's my little project, begun last October and put on hiatus pretty much from December to March as my neighbor, who worked on this with me needed a garage and mine is always full of bumpy. It's a mini sheepherders wagon, similar to Romany ones, although in Wyoming they were the 4 season homes of shepherds and their families. The basic idea came from a book by Tim Lemke although this one folds down to reduce the profile against head and cross winds. Supposedly they are light enough to pull with a smart car but I doubt it.
This one is made on a $200 Harbor Freight chassis, out of pine and 3/8 " plywood, and canvas. It s 8 ft long and the back 4 feet are the bed, which is 6 feet wide. Still quite a few things to do, but it looks like it should more or less. The pic with the grey tarp is how it would be towed. I also have a shot of the original chassis. Obviously not a bike but a possible base for riding mtn bikes on singletrack, or maybe doing nothing. The entire space under the bed is storage. Fuel, water, clothes, food, and cooking stuff could be transported in there. Anyway, I hope you like my little project.
