How can anyone know? A survey might tell us something but would it be reliable? We have real world data from other countries which seems good enough to me.
Well it may tell us something other than nothing. Do you not think it reasonable for somebody to ask if there is any data concerning a subject if they genuinely don't know? If you don't mind my saying so your replies appear to be rather dismissive.

Fear not- we'll soon have the flatlining cycling data from Jersey to look at.

You know this but wear one for activities involving speed. Does it not seem odd to you that your safety equipment is unsuited for the purpose?

In the absentia of such equipment being available I'll stick with what is, so it does not

Sorry, I don't understand what more you want here. We have data, it tells us stuff.
OK. I've asked if the UK is directly comparable to Australia, i'm not sure many would say it was directly comparable to Amsterdam, I've asked at what point we may expect to see health benefits from cycling, I've asked whether any sort of study had been carried out into the effects compulsion
would have on UK cycling. Now if the answer is no, don't know, don't care, stop trolling or whatever else, that's fine, I was simply asking the questions as I didn't know the answers, the data we have is patently not UK data, I was to wondering if it was automatically transferable.

It is available, but another point missed by the naivety and stupidity of Jersey's legislators

There is a cycle helmet... tested up to 12 mph, if you want to go faster, then wear a motorcycle helmet

You feel. So on what comes down to a faith based judgement, you would be happy for other people to be forced to do the same or be criminalised. Have you any idea how crap that sounds?
I wouldn't say 'faith based' more common sense that something between my head and whats hitting it will absorb some of the force coming my way, leaving my head in a better position than if nothing had been there

Yes I'd be happy with that and I don't think it sounds crap

Does this include whilst using stairs, where far more head injuries occur than when cycling?

After all if you trip on a stair then it is common sense that something between my head and what is hitting it will absorb some of the force coming my way, leaving my head in a better position than if nothing had been there
