Put the milage in and the tenderness will ease.. Well done though.

I am correct, in assuming that it is good practice to have all this stuff delivered to work and not at home?![]()

From now on, it will either (a) get easier or (b) stay the same but you'll go faster. The important thing is to keep doing it regularly, so that your legs (and lungs) get used to the exertion. Keep the bike in reasonably good condition, too, as a rusty, badly-maintained bike is also tougher to ride.
Good luck with the clipless pedals. Hint: set the release tension as loose as they go, and practice unclipping a lot before riding.Going to do a 14mile round trip tomorrow, 7 miles there and back to visit in-laws for a birthday instead of using my car/motorbike.
However, if you're going to do something, then may aswell do it properly!

Cree T6 light up to £20 on ebay. So, tonight was my second ride.
I learned that my front light is not bright enough for unlit country roads, but however, I am impressed with the drivers, and the patience in my area at night as all gave me plenty of room![]()
