Didn't take long for the cloud cover to dominate and grey has fully replaced blue overhead. At least the forecast for some light rain this afternoon was incorrect and it sayed well to the west. I've had the couple of hours out with a regular 50k route on the new toy which was followed by a shower and another cuppa.
The car has its yearly service on Wednesday morning at the same garage the MOT was done a couple of weeks ago, so I'll do what I did then and take it round later this afternoon to avoid the school run chaos in the morning.

It's been a cool, mostly grey and very occasionally drizzly day here chez Casa Reynard.
Sleep was middling. Had a morning of mixed chores, which included topping up the wood bins in the house and filling up the crock pot with the key components of tonight's supper.
Had a lovely luncheon of hummus on wholemeal toast, fruit (a banana and a red orange) and a
Then off into the garden for an afternoon's worth of lumberjilling. Namely continuing to clear up that cherry tree I was working on last week. I have a full trailer load of logs, and there's only a couple of branches and the stump left to do. I did shed three five foot lengths of smaller wood from the top of my load, so will have to go back out and look for it at some point.
Now sat by the fire with a and have ordered a new watch strap.

Another working day of the week completed. Loads of big chiefs over from the States for some reason, so they reserved half the tables in the canteen for them so us unimportant people can't find anywhere to sit for lunch.
I should have gone for a bike ride but couldn't motivate myself. No real plans for this evening.
I work from home again tomorrow as I have to drop the car over to get part of the exhaust replaced.

Evening cuppa went down well after a trip to the hospital to see elderly relative which included a trip along the A45 so deffo needed an evening cuppa and a slice of toast

The car was dropped off at the garage earlier and I broke my own unwritten rule of not wearing joggers in public as I couldn't be bothered to change trousers for the short drive and 5 minute walk home.
