Near head on crash in the car last night, coming out of Edinburgh and a car came round a corner overtaking other cars on my side of the road, luckily there was a cycle lane on the left I could swerve into and just avoid hitting it.

Good morning from a bright and very sunny Suffolk with not a cloud in sight. Coffee has been had after a very god night's sleep.

Things to do today - wait for the call to say the car is ready for collection and sort out the overnight bag for tomorrow's day out.

Public Service Broadcasting were excellent at the Usher Hall tonight,m and the support band, She Drew The Gun weren't bad either.

I've got that to look forward to on Thursday.

Bright and sunny but a noticeable wind. First coat of stain applied to the rear of the low fence panels was consequently a bit fraught with the glare of the sun. Realised I had relocated my baseball caps but I could not work out where to.
Dental hygienist visit coming up.

Oh, I forgot to add that it's an uphill slope for the mile coal run just to add a bit extra spice for the event.

Presumably the coal is imported these days.
