Good morning (just) all. A bit of a change in the Suffolk weather in that it's all gone grey & dull.

I've just used the last of the milk on my Shreddies clones so I think this afternoon's ride will have to include a spot of shopping.

Yesterday I lost my 3-way 4/5/6mm hex tool.

I just found it at the bottom of a pile of humorous bicycle horns.

I've now put the horns out for sale, and they're being tested by several children.

The till staff will kill me...

The Czech patient is in for test now. It blew a hole in the exhaust en-route to the test centre so that's a fail for certain and they'll more than likely not do the emissions test now because of the hole in the exhaust.

I never knew it was possible to hate an inanimate object so much.

And now ebay is suggesting that I bid on a Reliant Regal van.

Cushty. You know it makes sense!

We have a power cut. My bike ride to the bakers has been cancelled because I'm not carrying the bike back up to the 5th floor.

Wifey says group of colleagues event canceled, due to lack of sign-ups, so she & I will go bowling anyway, as just a couple

it was fun. been 30? years. what fun. love that they serve drinks! the Philly cheese steak egg rolls weren't bad either. pro bowlers we aren't but it was a good time

Mild, grey and still here chez Casa Reynard.

Did not have the best night's sleep, so feeling somewhat meh. Done a load of laundry this morning, and made the dough for a panettone. It's now in a bowl doing its thing.

Had a lovely luncheon of two slices of wholemeal toast, one with chicken liver pate, one with epoisses cheese, then a pear, an orange and the obligatory two

Now sat listening to Arsenal v Brentford.

Potentially. I have just secured myself the 1986 print run, so it's really only the second half of 87 through to mid 1988 that would be of interest. Thanks for the heads up though, always worth investigating.

If the Cadbury's chocolate is what the customers prefer then who cares how much chocolate it contains? It's marketed as Cadbury's Milk chocolate.

It's the fact that Dairy Milk has got so little cocoa in it that it's barely legal to be called chocolate. Either way, it's bloody ghastly, just ridiculously sweet. OTOH american chocolate is even worse. (sorry to our correspondents across the pond, but it's true...)

Tesco's own brand milk chocolate has 27% cocoa solids - and it's rather nice. Even better, they do one filled with peanut butter

Had a small bonfire in the top garden with some paperwork and then fixed up a high fence which was beginning to collapse.
No signs of Red Deer which used to be a nuisance and the reason for the high fence probably because there is nothing edible for them now.
They did come in another bit and obviously settled down for snooze but that was blocked off as well.
Found my missing chain lube in a box I found labelled "chain cleaning stuff". It only took about 2 months to find it.

Just completed a ride 60 metres short of 90km. Hope it winds up a few on Strava who are obsessed with rounding up distances of rides.
