Just been told that the family that live next door to one of my relatives have had there cat reported to the village council because it spends more time in there other neighbours garden

I mean what and why

There are frequent pleas on out local FB pages ."Will people please stop feeding our cat as it is well fed at home and just likes to have a wander"

Phone call at 7.30 to tell me that an order we haven't ordered is being something or other ! I put the phone down before it finished !
Who has his phone number so I can ring him to see how he likes being disturbed !!!!!!

I have had a few of those recently about 0700 but I just leave it to the answering machine and they immediately ring off.
One I have had a few times is from Craigellachie of all places. Manchester I can understand scammers being there or perhaps from China and somehow using a Manchester number.

The gales have not quite reached full strength yet which is forecast to be early afternoon. Not raining tho' and temp outside is about 6C.
Dismay in Oban as M&Co are closing [along with many other locations] and comments on their FB pages along the lines of
" Please no more tartan tat shops and we do not need another Turkish barber or pizza place"
There is nowhere left to buy basic clothing except perhaps Tesco for socks and underwear plus other assorted legwear, shirts and jackets etc.

Yes they use a local number here .
The trouble with our answering machine is that it hogs the phone call and you can't intercept it once you realise who it is .

A lovely Belgian lady who just happens to be my Brother In Laws mum cooked me rabbit stew on several occasions Usually when we called in to see her before we went off to the old Victoria ground to watch Stoke FC on a Saturday.
Unfortunately Rochelle passed away a two weeks ago in the residential home in which she had lived for eight years aged ninety eight. Despite her sight failing she as she had always done lived her life to the full .
I will be at her funeral next Monday

that is what cats do, for sure. here's hoping they don't get into any neighbor's rodenticide

Found out yesterday that there was another "me"* born on the same day in Cheshire.

Same first and surname, including the same spelling.

that is what cats do, for sure. here's hoping they don't get into any neighbor's rodenticide

They also crap in your seed beds if proper outdoor cats which is b—-y annoying to put it mildly. It also means I have to use traps for mice which destroy anything plastic in my shed/workshop.

I'm pretty sure this past Sunday afternoon our home was struck by ice fallen from a commercial airliner
I was doing laundry on the 2nd floor of our 3 floor condo when I heard a loud noise on the roof
then I heard more rumbling sounds like a herd of deer running on the roof
then I saw a huge white blob fly past a back window
went out to the backyard & saw large pieces of ice on the patio
we didn't have any ice or snow on our roof, so it's must have come from up above, somehow, somewhere

Snow and ice build up on your chimney-pipe, when the furnace runs, and the sun is out, this cap melts enough to fall off. and slide down your roof
