Frustrating sort of day when I kept busy with trivia but really achieved little of any use.
Went to the local Calmac office to book my next trip.
I knew the dates I wanted but not the times as confused by all the timetable reshuffling. The staff in the office admitted they were also confused but there seem to be no mid morning sailings so had to accept one too early going off and one later than I wanted coming home. There are supposed to be morning ones coming from Oban but they are not bookable as they do not know which ferry if any might be sailing.
Never got to the chemist as I had intended but that is not urgent and spreads my social life (such as it is ) out a bit.
I should really have gone out triking but somehow my get up and go has gone.
It is now raining again.

It's been a lovely bright and sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, though the temperature has dipped decidedly in the last hour.
Slept well, then spent the morning at the parental's beck & call, chauffeuring her to sort out some errands. Then I popped into Tesco on the way home to pick up a few bits as I don't need to do a full shop till the weekend. Also picked up some cat food (it's gone up AGAIN but is still cheaper than Zooplus), chucked £20 of petrol in the car and two sacks of coal, the latter bought on clearance, half the price of what the Co-op were asking for the same thing.
Had a lovely luncheon of a ham hock & mustard sandwich, an apple, a pear and two
Cleared up the shopping this afternoon, topped up the wood bins in the house and then delved into that batch of Motoring Newses that arrived yesterday. I knew it wasn't the whole print run - largely looks like it's January through to July, plus a handful of later issues. Should be plenty of useful stuff in there though. Have already tagged some interesting articles to read.
