My Tesla-owning neighbour has an outdoor socket outside his apartment to charge the car from but I see this evening that it obviously wouldn't reverse slightly up hill in the deep snow so it has been abandoned at the other side of the car park far away from the charging socket. I wonder how he will charge it overnight now. Running an extension lead across a car park would be a bit of a a hazard.

Yup, one of the definite downsides of EVs...

It's not like you can pop to the local garage for a gallon of petrol to stick in the tank.

There is a great deal of lack-of-foresight in the push for EV.

The parental is the most unhandy / unpractical / un-DIY kind of person I know, bless her... I think we compromise and call things "a doodad" to avoid any issues with proper names LOL

We usually go with 'thingie' or 'whotsit' in this household..

That's a shame as your early morning walk pictures yesterday with the snow looked really good

I would have thought Tesla would provide an App for clearing snow.

First they need an app so it can do away with recharging , but not getting into that debate.
