There seems to be about three inches and more falling. Lots of German status symbols stuck in it. Hi-Ace van driver got a nicely controlled four wheel drift around a roundabout.

Trouble is I'd need one for the spoke key, and another for the three way hex key sert, and another for the three way socket set... I'd whistle and get half a dozen responses...

I made a simple suggestion, that might have helped.....

I seem to have made the correct decision to cancel this morning's appointment.
Snow blanketing everything tho' not very deep. Only a couple of inches but the road is a mush and the one I would take is currently still pristine white so nobody has been able the get up the hill. Forecast says snow showers all day.
FB reports cars scattered everywhere off road on the 10 mile stretch to Salen.
The surgery car park will from past experience be a mass of hard packed snow turned to ice and impossible for me to walk on that.
A small lorry carrying road salt has just gone past. Must be doing some smaller roads the bigger lorries cannot reach.

One advantage of having 3" of snow is that I can see I didn't receive any post today without bothering to go and check as I see no footprints up to my post box.

Whereas I got a different postman, who delivered a pile of things at 9am rather than the usual one at 1pm. Brake hoods and Simplex cables have arrived for the DBS Winner re-build. Now just how to get the hoods on is a different matter ...

The people in the house have some sort of husky type dog. I see the kids playing in the garden with it now. What an appropriate dog to have in the current weather conditions and I wonder do they have a sleigh for it.
