The moral of the story is do the important things like cycling first and then deal with household chores.
Absolutely.
It stopped raining early afternoon and I got a walk in with Mr Hebe. Also, after spending a couple of hours wondering why the whole house smelled of perfume and fresh laundry and jambalaya, I realised that my sense of smell is back. 7 weeks after covid.

So our ferry made a successful return trip and will be back in service here for 3 whole days before departing to the Uists and that puts us back to one ferry for about 6 weeks.
Just as well it is going away as being fresh out of annual overhaul the passenger lift has broken down again.
Apparently one problem is that the lift is designed for buildings and tends to jam when subject to sea conditions even when not in use.
I can climb the stairs slowly but coming back down again can be a problem. Fortunately I have no booked passages for the next few days.

Administrators for insolvency are in my experience not to be trusted in anything. They may well have sold your property on to the highest bidder. I worked alongside such people at a company which went into administration and was not impressed.
I also once lost a presentation watch in for repair and they just binned it apparently.
I went to a fair number of these liquidation auctions, and some of the stock being sold on the day wasn't on the company stock lists.

As for computers, I've still got the hard drive from the manager of one local councils printworks. Bought with all the councils letter templates on it. They'd have printed the various department letter standards there.
Another time, the hard drive was simply dropped off at the local police station. Someone in an office had too much time at their fingertips and access to the internet.

Other times it beggared belief at what they were trying to get money for.
