Ride It Like You Stole It!
Location
South Manchester
SWMBO's away and I've the house to myself until Tuesday, although I'm supposed to be resting as my re-built finger's looking a bit bruised and scraped.

So, yesterday's 40 mile ride and particularly today's 25 miler - part of which was on canal paths - didn't happen. Got it.

However, I have painted the replaced fence panel so they all colour match AND I've seeded the bare lawn patches where the dead moss was raked from last weekend. Some weeding and a trip to the garden centre yielded some plants to fill gaps in the beds and pots. It'll look nice at least.

Now resting myself with some chocolate fudge cake I purloined on yellow sticker to watch the last 50km of Paris-Roubaix.

Sounds like you do resting like me. I won't tell.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
spent 2 and a half hours cleaning the car in readiness for selling it , had a quote from motorway, auto trader and we buy any car.
If anyone interested in a 64 plate stepway before i commit to any trader , i know i would get more on a private sale but if you can match the ball park offers from traders then make me any offer i cant refuse

We had some very light drizzle this morning. It was a bit more like what you get from an atomiser instead of drizzle.
I had a bit of a go on my clarinet. Oh Come all Ye Faithful and a new one Silent Night. Very slow progress.

A mostly cloudy and occasionally showery day here chez Casa Reynard.

Did not sleep well. Mainly because lady issues have arrived, complete with the usual accompaniments. Which is why I declined to steward at the Essex & London joint shows this weekend. Ergo I've had a plumpitty day.

Watched the boat race.

Had a late luncheon of a crusty white roll with rillettes de porc, plus fruit and a :cuppa:

Listened to the F1 on the radio.

Ate a pastry.

Just topped up the firewood bins in the house.

Supper will be a raid-the-fridge.

I have just picked up my clarinet playing book. I'm still finding the tadpoles on the telegraph wires still confusing.
Can you be dyslexic when it comes to music or whatever term they use? Just plain useless?
I can whistle or hum tunes but looking at the printed stuff is just confusing.

Given my track record in music at school, the answer is probably yes.

Was the only subject that I always failed both consistently and miserably. Was always in the top third of my year for everything else. Dropped music like a hot potato as soon as I was able.
