Today's 23 plate truck has 354522 kilometres on the odometer and has taken me to Wisbech.

Good morning from a bright and sunny Suffolk. Coffee and a light breakfast have been had.

Slight hitch with today's planned trip to Brands Hatch - National Highways have closed it on the southern half of the A12/M25 junction (no way on or off the M25 for me in other words) as part of their rebuild of the interchange which means a bit of a diversion and extra time. There's still a little while to decide if it's worth bothering.

Shopping has been done and a decision made - no trip to Brands Hatch today as there appears to be long delays on the diversion routes. Instead the money that would have been spent on fuel will be used to treat myself to lunch out on Monday.

Sunny intervals between the clouds
Bread maker has been on and for the first time in ages the paddle did not stay in the loaf.
Ebike to Asda with a full bag of used coffee pods to return then a light shop.
Took far too many attempts to find Podback in the display of the delivery/collection machine, the single line keypad is too close together.
As usual the self service till rejected my debit card being scanned but instead of going back to the payment screen put up a call for help. Once "help" had arrived it then merrily accepted the card being scanned.
In the meantime there was the sound of broken pottery from another till. Ah! Someone having a worse time than me.
Strava claims it feels like 3 , wasn't that cold.

Henry has been picked up and is resting in the car till I take him to his new workplace later after yet another trip along the A45
