Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
I'm deciding whether to a) go on the club ride tomorrow morning, b) go watch the racing at Bradford in the early afternoon or c) go on a pootle on my own. Possibly d) do a and b.

As I'm aiming to do the Lincolnshire retro ride on Sunday, plus take my father out for lunch whilst nearby, SWMBO has commented.

Unbelievably changeable weather today. Quite warm and sunny one moment, pelting hailstones the next. Hopefully it stays dry for tomorrow. I believe it could be quite stormy. I've revised my planned route as I think my original was much too long for my current fitness levels.

I had bought myself an OS map prior to coming so I'd know where all the little roads go. I can just picture it sitting on my coffee table at home where it is of no use :banghead:

I've arrived anyway. More people at the hostel than I was expecting. I got badly delayed by what seems to be a very serious RTC.

I did manage to fit in a traditional seaside ice cream between the showers in my favourite ice cream parlour. At the prices they're charging now, it might be my last!

Plans confimed for Saturday - if I restrct my shopping to non-chilled foods, I can do that on the way out, get a top up of diesel and be at Brands Hatch for the afternoon's racing (the morning is all practice/quaifying). Sunday would be a preferable day to go to give me a slow day at home on Saturday, but it turns out to be Mothering Sunday so I'd better go and say hello to my mum in person for the first time in a few weeks. Hopefully Morrisons willl still have cards available on Saturday!
