I don't trust people who seem over excited!
They are talking about school attendance on TV. I missed a lot of school but I used to watch a lot of school's and Open University programmes in those days. I didn't find the Test Card very interesting! I used to get a lot of colds which I don't get these days, but then I don't mix with a lot of people. The teachers in those days weren't very friendly either so that was a bit of a disincentive.

Good morning from a yet again sunny and dry Suffolk - can't be long before a hosepipe ban is introduced.

Coffee has been had and a bowl of porridge will shortly be nuked for breakfast ahead of today's outing which is to York for She Drew the Gun & Public Service Broadcasting at The Barbican. Earlier start than normal as I must have picked up the outward rail ticket for a silly cheap price, so I may take a quick trip round the NRM when I get there before having lunch.

It's there a King of the Mountain segment for Ipswich?
No mountains but with Ipswich effectively being in a bowl due to the River Orwell, you'll always end up going uphill to some extent on the way out.
Is the overnight bag sat patiently waiting by the door just like a dog or cat eagerly waiting for you to open the door?
Just like its owner, it does like going away every now and then. Being by the door means I can't forget it on the way out and putting things like glasses, rail passes/tickets, etc with it means they don't get forgotten either.

Cloudy with sunny intervals. Just been to the local nusery for a 1 litre spray bottle for the animal deterrent and no doubt in the future weed killers whose supplied trigger gun insists on covering you rather than what it is to being aimed at. Also three bags of limestone chippings to refresh the now fenced off corner. First however a ☕

Limestone scattered, another ☕ , then car to Lidl to make a bulk purchase of loo rolls. Their app offered £5 off £30 and whilst they had some cycling stuff in nothing was of interest. I did hold a boxed rechargeable compressor pump but although compact it had a noticeable weight. Did however spot a litre of that overly expensive Patch Magic grass seed at £9.99 (over £15 in B & Q) and by just 27p triggered the £5 off.
