Red brake fluid ordered as despite bleeding the ebikes front brakes
one of the things holding me back from an ebike, is a whole new world of bike maintenance; the weight on a bike rack & storage. my interest would be bike commuting. did it a bunch w/ my regular bikes, but I'm 22 miles from work, so I don't do it much anymore. an ebike would get me back in the game

Mrs P has been knocked off her feet.A virus of some sort has wiped her out,it has come from out of the blue.Strange we were on welcome at church yesterday.Meeting and greeting. So i have had free reign today.A walk a cafe visit, lunch on my own.Weeding and turning over the empty flower bed.The one we cleared to do a project on then i found out i had cancer. Then father in law troubles,we are hoping to do something with it very soon.A really quiet day and boy has it been nice and warm.

tulips maybe? they might be low maintenance & come back every year

Lunchtime stroll completed

It's been a glorious sunny day, albeit a bit cool, after a grey start.

Did not have the best of night's sleep thanks to Madam Lexi doing her "Simon's Cat" impressions. I ended up chucking her out of the bedroom after being poked and nibbled one too many times. She can be such a PITA at times, bless her. Spent the morning catching up on chores after having had a quiet weekend.

Had a lovely luncheon of two slices of wholemeal toast, one with thinly-sliced roast beef, the other with boursin cheese, plus some fruit and the obligatory :cuppa:

Topped up the wood bins in the house afterwards, and then took myself off for a lovely bicycular bimble. Did the same ride I did tail end of last week, and really enjoyed it. Saw a roe deer boinging across the fields, they've turned out sheep on the Hundred Foot levees (will need to watch out for ticks, then), and stopped to say hello to some ponies in a field.

And if anyone ever wondered whether ponies eat cycling jackets, the answer is yes.

Now sat by the fire with a :cuppa: and a biskit.

The sunshine finally returned this morning as did the cold northerly wind so, while it may have looked lovely, the warm jacket and full finger gloves were required on today's extended shopping trip by bike.

I evenually located the car's bonnet release catch and it's operating method without having to resort to the owner's manual so I now have a full screen wash reservoir. Since that bit of car maintenance, I've done nothing except resist the urge for a nap, finish off the current issue of Private Eye, listen to a podcast and have tea. Next up is this evening's hot chocolate.
