been icing it up all day, walking still painful, but tried the bike, just ¼ of a mile, and it wasn't horrendous - hopefully get a few mile in the morrow, I know a very flat 9 mile loop, may be that !
Im still going to be behind target this week my 130 mile lead will be decimated

I'm icing a knee as well - it does not like acute bends. Invested in a new cold compress today

Happy birthday Mr Lane.

Penultimate working day of the week completed. Only a half day to tomorrow.

It was a nice day and I dried clothes outside for the first time this year, but as forecast, it started to rain heavily around 5pm. It is still raining. I was just doing a bit of writing and sorting some photos for my blog.

Wordpress have congratulated me on being with them for ten years and also on making my 100th. post! I started it as a bit of fun and can't believe I've been writing it for ten years. A few people have even read it in that time. They must have been bored

My head is full of mucus again. Seems to happen sometimes.

Fabby supper of cullen skink, followed by liver stroganoff, tagliatelle and roasted veggies (baby plum tomatoes, sweet pepper, courgette, shallots and garlic). I am a bit stuffed.

The pig's liver was from the butcher in town. About a pound per kilo more than in the supermarket, but so very lovely. And from local free-range porkers, too.

awww, sorry to hear that. you did a good thing by going

my sister takes her shopping etc etc and she is fed up with how she treats us ( the step kids ) whereas her natural son and other people she is very nice too .

Best tape them under the keyboard so you don't lose them.

I generally put them in a random drawer so it takes a while to find them to make it a bit more secure.

Lovely and warm day for today's outing - to the extent that I had to remove the thin liner gloves that I wear under my mitts. Little bit more of a breeze, but mostly a side or tail wind.

I think I've found something to spend my tax refund on (when I finally get it) - there's a gig in August that I fancy going to and the refund should cover the cost of the ticket & hotel, leaving me just the breakfast & rail ticket to fund.

Well that reflects the short term nature of trumped up universities. Popped up in 1967 and can't even support a population of geese.

There were 3 big domestic ones, had the run of the area. A dog took one and the other has disappeared, perhaps stolen.

It probably hasn't changed much (apart from the shops selling hiking etc gear.. 👍

It's probably 4 years since I was last there, when I took my brother to order a very fancy ti mountain bike with Pinion gears. One of those Alpkit places amongst the hiking places.

I wonder if they would like some Canada geese and clackers from where I work. You will probably have to take Cletus the Goose as well. I would like to frame that as a diplomatic gesture. BTW, yesterday morning, my barometer sat at 29.07!
