Evening cuppa went down well
Why do some people make things so hard

Do you mean hard as in difficult or hard as in @Drago 's reaction to Carl Vordermann ?

Please could we have a bit of sunshine and warmth. Having done the shopping and had a mug of coffee for warmth, I went back out but had to cut the ride short due to starting to lose feeling in my fingers & toes despite being well wrapped up. Strava showed a 'Feels like' temperature of -1°C

Just for information the pack of Ibuprofen I found this morning has a use by date of 04/20

Fabulous supper of leek & potato soup, mushroom gołąbki* baked in a tomato cream sauce, and rumbledethumps. :mrpig:

If I'd added a dessert, I'd have a lovely menu for an informal dinner party. Thing is, there's no room for dessert!

* savoy cabbage leaves stuffed with fried mushrooms, shallots and cous cous (should be buckwheat or barley if you want to be properly traditional). This is normally served on Christmas Eve in some regions of Poland, but is just a damn nice veggie supper. The version stuffed with minced pork and rice is also very good. :hungry:

This evening's hot chocolate has just been made and a small bag of crisps has been opened for snacking. It may be hokum, but I'm going with 'Feed a cold, starve a fever'

You've missed out the important bit - namely the flavour of said crisps.

My back seems to get better as the day goes on. I feel much better now and even did my usual four mile perambulation route for the first time this week.

I stopped in the newsagents and treated myself to this month's Practical Classics and a Galaxy (the chocolate bar, not a Ford people car).

Then I get to go to bed and seize up overnight, and get to do it all over again tomorrow!

The one thing is that I've worked up extra time this week as I wasn't going to be doing much else, so have only 2.5 hours to work tomorrow.

Ever since I was looking for electric shaver parts for my dad a few weeks ago, eBay feel the need to email about endless offers on Philips shavers. How many do they think I need anyway!

I cooked Szechuan Chicken tonight, Chicken cut into small chunks then marinaded in lightly whipped Egg with Salt and Cornflour stirred in to make like a Batter. Stir-fried with a Green Pepper cut up into similar sized pieces, some (home toasted) Cashews, chopped Chilli, Spring Onion, with a Hoi-Sin, Dry Sherry, Sesame Oil and Ginger Sauce. :hungry:

Do you do home delivery?

Ice cream late in the evening, or any other time when you'd normally be doing very little.
Sweat it out!
