Lovely family meal out this afternoon, and true to form we took our time arriving at 1pm and leaving just after 4pm. I'd forgotten how large their portions were and only just cleared my plate of fish, chips & peas with no room for the sweet course. Combined with the developing cold the only thing to do when I got home was to pull out the sleeping bag and have 45 minutes kip.

My sister sems to be enjoying my birthday week most of all as she turned up with yet more stuff, although she does take rubbish photos...

I'll get my own back on her in 2.5 years time.

Suggestions please?
It's two pieces of dark wood, about half an inch thick, and about ten by four inches.
Two wingnuts, square threads.

Yes, that's definitely a flower press. They can be quite small. Mine, which looks similar, is only half the size. What's missing though, are the sheets of corrugated card and paper that you put the blooms between.

I've spent an interesting evening developing a character (Sarah Archibald) that I've mentioned in passing on several occasions, but who hasn't turned up in person until this point in the story. But now it's time to put the writing away, bank the fire for the night and trot off upstairs to bed.

Nunnight one and all xxx :hello:
