Today's sunshine seems to have enticed everyone to the seaside. I did a loop to Felixstowe and back by bike - by midday there was a near 1/2 mile queue for the traffic lights from the A14 and I could only see 2 free on road parking spaces on the seafront roads. Even the pay & display car parks were nearly full. Later on I walked down to the same area and up the prom - it was absolutely packed. Very cold in the shade, but with the sun and light breeze on my back it was pleasantly warm along the prom.

Burger & chips have been enjoyed and it's now time for the hot chocolate.

Second short summer holiday booked - due to circumstances we've got to stay local - Derbyshire in June was already booked and I've just booked a beach-side house in late July for a few days at half the price of the smaller next door one.
