Good morning from a 6th floor hotel room overlooking the Kirkstall Road in Leeds. A lovely clear, sunny and very cold start to the day.
I think I've overdone breakfast and, as I don't need to be at the rail station for over an hour, a bit of a rest is being had before walking into town.

Postie is overdue with what I presume is a salt, pepper and vinegar pot/jar set.
Resorted to the tumble dryer for half of the washing and eventually worked out which grey T shirt I had washed was actually a thermal one. Bad choice of colour. I had found this morning two pairs of thermal leggings but only one top, which implied correctly as it turned out their was an extra top in the washing.
The New Years Day (rubber) duck race down the River Nidd at Knaresborough has been cancelled and rearranged three times now and apparently is now to be virtual - hardly the same thing. Given the lack of luck probably will be a power cut.

that's it, I have a head cold. our plan was to sleep late but I had two get out of bed & take an OTC for my symptoms. now bundled up on the couch with breakfast & coffee.

I think it belongs to someone else. We also generate a great amount of wind power around these parts, a wind farm covers much of the county.

That's half a mile done in the wheel chair down to a swimming area on the prom. Strava'ed it. Who knew there is a wheel chair option. Shattered now though and my thumb is wearing out.
