Made it to the airport. Getting in the taxi was tricky on the ice. On drop off I was exceptionally slow getting to the assistance area. Got me new wheels. MrsF is a bit rubbish at driving.

Made it to the office safely. I think think this is the coldest morning so far, and hopefully the last frosty one as temperatures are to reach the balmy heights of +4C today.

Pavements are fine early in the morning as they're frosty and crunchy. The problem starts later when they start to thaw.

An amazing red sky this morning.

I only have to work until 1 today.

Good morning from Suffolk where i was 'only' -4°C here at 8am. Clear skies, bright sunshine and plenty of frost on the ground.
Coffee has been had with another couple of tangerines as I can't decide which pack of biscuits to open.

I think today will be a big coat day given how cold it is.

Charlie would be at vets this morning , we’ve just about managed to get the dog pram up the street. Mrs 73 is now making steady progress to the vets. Good job it’s just round the corner. On top of that she had a text this morning saying the bed frame due to come next week. Is now coming today so I will need to wait in for that. Mrs 73 is meeting up with a very good friend later today. So looks like I’ve the car to dig out later too

Been there! They are showing a Beeb reporter in Braemar with a bridge behind him. That is where we saw a Red Squirrel run across the road and into some pine trees.

A Grandfather clock was sold for £4, hammer price, at a local auctioneers today.
Even the case is/was worth more than that.

I hate it when auctioneers advise the seller not to put a reserve on their items. They are not the ones who will lose out!
