Good morning from a very soggy and dull Suffolk. We're more in danger of drowning than getting snowed in here 
Coffee has been had after a bit of an effort leaving the warmth of the duvet and a load of towels are being dealt with by the washing machine.
Nothing else needs doing today, so I may give the car a run as it's not been used since Ch****mas eve and that was only a short trip having been sat unused for a fortnight before that.

Break time. Spending the morning grinding burrs of metal sheets ,about 350 an hour between 2 of us
So it did snow and it looks nice.Well we got a text from church,no service today.So extra time under the duvet.Or so i thought.I would like a brew in bed said Mrs P.ok nice idea.She did not move.Am i making it then.yes it says in the Bible,Where, Hebrews,i gave in .

We got about half of what they promised us, and slightly more than yourself.
Very little movement outside, not even kids playing out in it.
Plain white snow as well, they gave an orange snow alert.
Back after the holidays to find the news about @oldwheels , as many have said he will be missed. Always enjoyed his accounts of Island life past and present. His photos and memories of past cycle tours and is memory's of a life that was well lived. Will dig out the best malt and have a toast. May he ride long and free.

Looks like it's stopped raining here for a bit - I think I may go out for a short walk when I've finished this coffee.
I did take the car out for a quick trip just to get a bit of charge into the battery as there's not been much sunshine for the solar trickle charger to use and got some diesel while I was out. Plenty of flooding & deep puddles thanks to blocked drains.
