That was no.1 Christmas 1971
Recycling collection is actually Friday, double checked when I realised no neighbours had put anything out.

Not a chance I was going out in that - I cycle commuted in all weathers for years and now I only get wet if it unexpectedly starts raining while I'm out.

Thanks to the grotty afternoon weather, I now have a much cleaner bike with a freed up & lubricated chain. It's also a fair bit lighter as I scraped al the dried on mud from the underside of the mudguard - it's quite surprising how much can accumulate.
Time for this evening's hot chocolate and a glass of lemonade as I'm partaking in Dry January 1st
