In principle the last day of the year should be dedicated to tying up loose ends ready for the New Year. However, I've managed to negotiate a procrastination rollover so I'm going for a lie down instead. I've been up and about but I don't believe I've reached more than 50% awake.

It might be OK tomorrow - with the wind in that direction it is often a lot drier than they say

Rain arrived midday. Had my neighbour knocking on the door, something wrong with his internet apparently; he is a marble short. Nipped round to find a Google Chrome page fully showing on his TV so plainly nothing wrong with the internet connection. Transpired it was the remote control. Took the batteries out, then back in and it worked fine.
Then off to Waitrose. Forgot to get any yogurts this morning and the trolley app indicated them as being one of the cheapest currently. Also picked a box of Christmas cards for £1.

It would take me much more than a day to tie up any loose ends, probably all of January. I will concentrate on the priorities, and see what happens. The Patient has a Hopsitall appointment on Thursday. This may lead to a diagnosis, let's hope so.

Hospital visit done and the hand sling has been reduced to a big finger bandage.

I'm not able to drive yet but have been cleared to ride the smart turbo. Her comment was about keeping the finger elevated. Mine was about whether a high heart rate would be OK with a post-operative body part.

can you rig a string from a ceiling hook, to hang your hand from & maybe take an easy spin?
