Like Tyred, I have a headache plus feel slightly stuffy. Marvelous 
it's amazing how often I end up with a cold on Xmas day, may be headed that way again.
Otherwise, all quiet, kids woke up excited it's Xmas eve but calm has descended. Time to breakfast everyone.

Could well be, but if it's a modern car it's undoubtedly some fancy electronic wizardry hidden away in the engine bay somewhere rather than a little sprung pin switch behind the brake pedal like 't good 'ol days, which would respond to a squirt of WD40.

Santa has delivered 2 new tumble dryers and 2 new washing machines to the laundry. We're all going to have a clean start to the New Year. Meanwhile, I've just dried a load in the old tumble dryer because the new ones haven't been installed yet.

Good morning from an overcast & grey Suffolk. Coffee has been had and the washing machine is doing its thing to a load of shirts & trousers.
When I said yesterday that I had nothing to do until the 27th, I'd completely forgotten that I still need to get to the local florist to pick the flowers up for mum as it's her birthday tomorrow. The collection is scheduled for around 11:00 so I'd better get moving.

Well that is odd!
I fitted the old switch which wasn't working and found that it is now. When I push the button in the lights go out. But the lights work with the ignition off which they shouldn't.
I will go and check the resistance of the switches. Oh! The warning light has gone out.

4.8 mile trek to town and back, still some strong gusts but rather than drizzle ocurring a weak sun put an appearance in. Christmas seemed to have gone in many stores so there was no danger of buying anything reduced to clear. Ended up in Asda, notably large Toblerones only £3.

How long will it take to do 7 miles yesterday same journey took 35 minutes
