100% cloud cover this morning and temperature had risen to 3.7C when I got up. Not raining tho' and no wind either.
Gastric reflux is bothersome this morning so may get another bottle of Peptac when I go down to the chemist to collect the latest batch of medication.
I hope to get written confirmation of my latest hospital appointment soon but it may get held up by the overloaded postal system. Once that is to hand I can go and negotiate with Calmac for a car booking as once a booking is made it is a bit of a faff trying to change it. If I cannot get a day trip by car it means using the system set up by Calmac for a taxi arranged by them from the terminal to the hospital and another return to the terminal.
Trouble with that is that it means hanging around waiting rooms for hours and I would need to carry a basic overnight bag in case the return ferry is cancelled and I am stranded overnight in Oban at my own expense.
My ticket would no longer be valid and I would need to apply for a refund and get a new ticket. The new system is widely regarded as completely useless and not user friendly.
Full of complaints this morning.

Installation work is ongoing - well some of it. the electrician has turned up and is installing the battery and all the associated bits which will effectively remain a useless lump for a while as the roofer fitting the solar panels has called in sick (apparently he's leaving the company...).
Now got to have that part rescheduled to an unknown date at the moment.
Can't even make a cuppa as the electricity's off while the work is done.

Chilly when I went out this morning.
Had a search of local shops looking for an extension for charging the iPad but nothing to be found. One shop had a box of assorted cables but they had no idea what I was looking for or even what they had.
I am reluctant to go online so will wait till I get to Oban where I can actually see what I want before buying.

Why did I have to reset my password again to get on to CC .
Never had problems till I got this new iPad which has been nothing but hassle.

Had an e-mail today from a cycle tour organiser confirming my booking deposit which they'd just received.
I'd posted it on 3rd. November and apparently the envelope was a bit tatty, but as it bore a Danish postmark, hardly surprising I suppose.
But pretty good value for a first class stamp on the miles it must have travelled - !
