Morning went as planned - the stamps came from a card shop as the queue at the post office was mammoth. Added Co-Op trek once back home and, whilst I had seen next weeks TV guide in town, the use of 25p off app voucher will have to be deferred to later in the week as they only had this weeks.
The sun had come out on the return from the Co-Op but had disappeared by the time I set off on the ebike. Halfway to Knaresborough along NCN636 it did reappear and a relatively quite Waterside and the clamber up Castle Ings led to the Market Place.
Shopping done and I headed off into suburbia to deliver a Christmas Card.
Back along Waterside from the NCNs eastern end and then up the A59 hill towards Starbeck. Made a decison to visit
Morrisons to make use of the Morrisons Fiver. Homewards from their roads were congested in unusual places as I had hit school kicking out time.
That was nothing compared trying to get to the hospital by car a hour and a bit late, presumably a lot of working days end at 4pm. As such I was 5 minutes late for the appointment time albeit expecting a long wait. That only turned out to be 2 minutes and I was homeward within 10.
