How did it go?

Looks like we have a green light so fingers crossed

As the W11 Office 365 issues at work continue IT have a new idea. Ditch Office 365 and install Office 2016, which apparently is only supported to next October. Suspect all of IT will have left by then.

is office 365 this new system that's supposed to replace MS office? we're having major issues here with that: it's routinely talking more than half an hour to send an email at work.

Another day completed. There was no sign of any frost on the way to work despite all the ice warnings. Got the inevitable moan about traffic keeping the trainer late. Hard to believe this is week four of the five weeks training we have to do. I still don't really know what I'm doing but have learned lots of excuses for being late!

I tried to report a fault on my parents landline this morning on my break as it hasn't worked since the weekend and my mum had been struggling to to use the automated attendant system. I had just assumed there was storm damage. Turned out she had forgot to pay the bill and it had been cut off:banghead:How to feel stupid in one easy lesson.

It is drizzling rain now and the temperature is really low so a risk of black ice. I had thought about going for a ride but probably not worth the risk.

It's been a grey, damp and raw day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept OK-ish. Would've been better if I hadn't kept pulling my covers over my head and leaving my feetsies nekkid. :cold:

Chores this morning, then erranding this afternoon. Still can't find anywhere with duck tape in stock. Looks like I will have to go to Screwfix in Witchford after all, *if* I can't find any in Littleport tomorrow. Despite forgetting to buy a head of celery, I managed to get everything else on my list.

A quick fizz to Tesco resulted in a side of salmon on a clubcard offer (there were none in yesterday, and wanted one to divide up and stick in the freezer), and a dozen dented cans of tomatoes at 16p each.

Tomato soup, then sausage casserole & bulgur wheat for supper.

Now listening to the football on the radio.

The evening's hot chocolate has just been made.

Once the electrician had finished his bit on the installation this afternoon I went out on a bike ride and to do a bit more of the dreaded Ch****mas shopping. I'm also waiting to se if another purchase has gone through or whether I need to try again as, despite completing the two stage verification with my bank by confirming the card transaction on the app, I had a message come through from them asking to confirm if I recognised the transaction. Once I'd confimed it, their auto response wasn't clear as to whether they will now approve the transaction or whether I've go to start again - I'll give it a couple of days to see what happens.

In better news, I've got a full refund on delay repay from Trans Pennine Express when I was only expecting 50% and the solar panel installation has been resceduled for the 19th December.

No email issues that Iam aware of. Its an issue of becoming unregistered that is the problem. Seemed to be acting as if it is a weeks trial but now it gone pear shaped on someone yesterday who was only given it on Friday.

Even when it works its confusing as their are two OneDrives. Saved a letter and then realised the date needed changing on it. Saved it again only then to spot a font error in one sentence. So saved again. Each time I made a PDF copy to attach to an external email. Went save the Word docx to the 'file" and I could not find the last version. Ended up saving the PDF.
