I couldn't sleep and I was thinking:
What is the life span of a snail and what distance could it cover over 24 hours
I know I am a bit weird but can anybody answer that ?

Lifespan: Anywhere between three and seven years in the wild and between 10 and 15 years in captivity.
Distance covered: 384 ft per day.

Looks ok outside but the forecast is for heavy rain later.
Gritting lorry went past at 0600 again this morning but it seems unlikely to be that cold until early next week.

The infernal holiday house opposite has his bin out blocking my car since last saturday. I need to stick it blocking his gate the next time I am out but he seems impervious to hints to shift his bins to the other entrance to the house where they will bother nobody.
Nothing planned but washing machine is on and should be finished by now so need to go and attend to that.

Good morning from chilly Suffolk where it's a bright and breezy start to the day. Coffee has been had and a load of washing is currently nearing the spin cycle.

There's no more outings for a month, so it's back to the normal routine now as I need to go out shortly for the weekend's food shopping and to get a bit of fresh air & exercise before the forecast bad weather hits later on this evening. There are some domestics to be done, but they can wait until Tuesday when I have an enforced day in.

So, using the metric system they only cover about 125 metres per day. I bet they are exhausted at the end of it and I hope they haven't forgotten something from their starting point either.

Going to order a bucket (I hate that expression) of KFC for our son’s 50th birthday but choosing which one is a bit difficult so the Mrs will have to choose and I won’t be blamed.

I got completely soaked walking home from work, not helped by the Prius driver who drove through a puddle at high speed.
