Snooker watched (another very enjoyable match between Mark Williams and Stuart Bingham), the fire is banked for the night, and now tucked up in bed with the laptop and two varieties of hot water bottle.

Only 2 hrs left before visiting hrs are over. was here sitting for 9? Hrs yesterday, today 11? tomorrow will be another long one. after that, is a toss-up, but likely more of the same. hoping we can get Mom into. A Rehab center this week. I’ll be glad to get back home. “Thanksgiving” holiday is irrelevant to me now, but is helping w/ a cpl free days off w/ pay!

Walking into Derby this morning PCSO’s were out and about confiscating electric scooters, they had quite a collection. They were also stopping E bikes and if it didn’t conform to our stands they too were confiscated and riders charged as they are classed as motorcycles.

Morning.lt is dark and wet out. I have just been out to put our garden waste bin out.
A clarinet I won on the bay arrived yesterday. That was quick! I spent most of last night cleaning it up. It is a Boosey and Hawkes Regent, similar to the one I gave to our granddaughter. I put a reed in it and got a few notes out of it straight away.

Our Blue bin (well, black with a blue lid) is the recycling one and isn't due out until next Wednesday.
