Okay, doing a quick n easy Gordon Ramsay recipe that, unusually for Gordon, uses tinned sardines.

They'll probably be okay

The fortnightly cheap milk in bulk shop of Sainsbury's accomplished. Had one of the frozen items missing in Asda 40p cheaper for 1 but 70p dearer for 2 which possibly explains the shortage in Asda.

Prep most things ahead, and have it all oven / microwave ready. And maybe swap a turkey for a really good steak or something. Umm yeah, and have a good supply of smoked salmon, charcuterie and cheeses in the fridge to go alongside a nice crusty loaf.

I do prep every thing a few days before all ready to go. Just I’ve got so use to having Boxing Day just for me as my day of rest after all the cooking, prep and shopping over the few day before. Once I’ve worked out having to move my planning and what order we normally have cold cuts and nibbles around. I will be fine hopefully

@Reynard - it came with a pair of yellow fluffy socks. Forgot about those.
Yellow socks and a pink onesie!

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
@Reynard - like @classic33 I've never worn a onesie and never intend to. SWMBO may have got two in the past week, appearing to live in them, but standards must be maintained by at least one of us.

It may be -3 degrees outside but I'm currently in (cycling) shorts and a T-shirt. Should that attire not be appropriate it's a suit, sans tie since it's past the end of the working day.

Can you say the same for the pink fluffy socks?

I'm keeping the same standards as your missus on this one, I'm afraid.

I'd better not put into words what I think of shorts and t-shirt at this time of year. Outside of bedwear, that is.
