A bit misty when I got up this morning but this has now turned into dense fog.
According to the forecast the temperature is due to drop sharply this weekend so time to get the polo necks out I think. I do have some what used to be called Headovers but they are used mainly for cycling to keep my neck warm and stop the escape of any heat.
Mince on the go and next need to get a loaf sorted out as well.

I have no objection generally to spiders but they do appear in some strange places. Webs behind my toilet cistern I can understand but I noticed yesterday that one has set up home in the top passenger side of the car windscreen.

Good morning from a 3rd floor hotel room overlooking the Law Courts in Newcastle. A grey and foggy start to the day.

The usual large cooked breakfast has just been had to set me up for the day, but only time for a short rest before heading off to the rail station due to a slight oversleep.

Fog is getting thicker but not to bad down the town as I had to go down to the chemist.
Could even see what looked like a play school down on the beach ferreting in the seaweed and a local artist was half way down making sketches of the misty lower town.
Consternation locally and in Oban that Homebase has gone bust. If they close there is nowhere left now to get all sorts of useful stuff. As one comment said all the shops are now tartan tat places and nothing left for local domestic use.
The nearest garden centre is a few miles out of town and another about 12 miles away.
No idea where else you could get tins of paint and electrical goods.
