In the diary for today is a trip to chemist's, newspaper shop , care home viewing, hospital visit and a double trip along the A14 for two junctions.

So another day of unknown heart tugs and frustration but hopefully by 6.30 we will be back in our own home for about 18 hours before it all starts again.

It's bl**dy drizzling!!!!!

Early morning walk had a nice surprise walking down one the main roads into Pickering. Which has no street lights. I came round the corner looked up and 1st clear sky of the week. Meant I was greeted with a sky full of stars. Can see why North York moor national park is home to dark sky’s festival.

I suspect there was some overnight rain but all dry for my perambulation.

Apparently something called Christmas will be happening soon. The council have been busy putting up Christmas lights in the main street all week.

Roadworks continuing with cones everywhere. The local Facebook groups are full of people moaning about making the pavements wider.

All ready for another wondrous day at work!

Is that a sea fret or haar that you often get?

A bit like a haar but I think that only applies to the east coast.
We are in a slightly strange geographical position being just round the corner from the bottom of the Minch. The whole of the Sound of Mull gets blanketed as the fog just lies in the low areas. Probably a lot to do with temperature differentials.
