Another grey day outside.
Nothing much achieved yesterday as did not feel to well but went out and did a bit of light gardening. What at first looked like brambles as I walked past turned out to be ivy so ripped a lot out as it would eventually strangle the desfontainia.which used to be a haven for house sparrows but now the only birds there seem to be wrens.

I cannot understand why some people post pictures of the deserted beach they love to visit as it is so quiet with nobody else there. On their next visit they will have to push through the crowds to see anything.
This happened at a salmon leap just north of Glasgow but it was a newspaper who did the dirty there.
The Cochno stones near where I used to live have now to be covered and hidden to protect them from mindless vandalism. They are very ancient rocks with carvings and of historical interested. We did visit them in the past but in those days there was nobody else about.

Off now to get soup on the go and raisin bread later.

Today is Christmas Tree choosing day.
Cycle to the plantation.
Put our name on a tree then collect it, complete with roots, about 20th December.
Around New Year return it to be replanted to grow on for a few years.

The chap runs the plantation as a charity and supports smaller local charities.

So it begins, the tension mounts ......

Good morning from Suffolk where the skies are as grey as my hair. Coffee has been had after a decent lie in.

Food shopping for the first part of the week today - nothing heavy but fairly bulky so I think I'll stick both panniers on the ebike and have a leisurely tour of the German discounters.
Nothing to do with
Good morning.

Probably a ride to the shops today.
By any chance?

I'll stick to the local branches - I don't think my battery will last for a cross Europe trip.
