Weather forecast was right and after a bright looking morning heavy rain came on about midday.

A couple of utility cyclists I have never seen before and I did feel sorry for one climbing a steep hill called Back Brae which I used to be able to manage on a bike but only just.
I should get an extra hour in bed tomorrow but it is always a bit disorienting for a couple of days.

Manky morning. Staying in bed.

It poured down early this morning. Biblical type rain.
Since then a wonderful day.

Why do so many people want to visit Antwerp?
Place is heaving. Worse than St Mark's.

I'm several parts Belgian but I still have this love hate thing.
I've lived and worked, survived here and many other places across the world. But Belgium is the hardest one to keep loving.

Then again cycling here is good and universal.

Half Belgian here. West Vlaandren is more my patch. Mind you, Brugge is probably just as bonkers from a tourist perspective. I prefer the coast (Oostende, Bredene, Knokke) out of season.

Hopefully next time @Jenkins skulks into Yorkshire they can be identified :okay:
Just look for a cyclist without a bike.
Despite a security sweep of all Wetherspoon pubs in Leeds centre,Jenkins remains at large.Unless he has returned home.Mind you it would have helped had i known what Jenkins looked like.It did not help that i was wearing a Salvation Army uniform and calling out The War Cry.
Nearest i got to a 'Spoons today was walking past the one in Leeds station. Did't even stop for a coffee.

I've got one more trip to bandit country this year and a couple (so far) next year which will give you more opportunities to play the CycleChat version of Where's the Wally
