Good morning. It is still dark out.

Looks like being a nice day. I just had my breakfast on a rectangular plate this morning. Different sausages from normal but still nice.

Working from home all the time is a strange thing as I know one of other customers here is a former supervisor whom I never actually met or even know what he looks like but I recognise the voice from speaking to him on the phone and in Teams meetings.

Looks to be a clear morning but heavy rain is forecast by midday.
No important household chores to do and I cannot get on with clearing my sheds of junk as my bins are full and not sure if the dump is open on Saturdays.
Mention of funerals reminds me another of my contemporaries has died. Not many of us left but he was a business rival so not a close friend.
Nicknames are also vanishing as the settlers take over more of our local community.
They were needed often to distinguish families with the same surname like the several branches of the MacLeans which were the dominant clan in the past and one branch still has a castle.

Good morning from a 5th floor hotel room in a partly sunny Leeds.

A large cooked breakfast has been had with a couple of mugs of coffee so a short rest is being had to let everything settle before I head off for a walk through town ending up at the rail station for the train home.

Trek to the country store thinking maybe sunflower hearts would be more popular than peanuts with the birds but they only had 3kg bags of it. Strava seems to have gone wonky as it is reporting a server error when the walk data tries to sync.
Edit: server error fixed as its just synced.
