I do like Chilean Merlot but haven't tried Aldi's.

It's labelled "Andasa", and from memory I think it was £3.99 a bottle. The feelings you have the next morning are mellow rather than painful. so I guess there's not too many toxins in it. :rolleyes:

I used to enjoy white wine when I was younger, but don't like the sweetness now so stick to reds.

I much prefer red but we don't have any in and it is pouring with rain outside

I had a very nice Rioja while at Lindeth Howe hotel so will have to try some bottles to find out what it was. This may take some time.
