I'm one of the world's most reluctant walkers and I need to get over Blackheath (originally Blasted Heath, a reference to the strong winds, apparently), which scoops up westerly winds from the river basin. If it's near gale winds down here, it will be fun up there on a bike. This might be a job for the heavy bike and no pannier.

I am very disappointed not to be in work today as I was planning to put some toy rats in the site manager's room as an April Fool's joke.
I'm recovering from a D and V bug and they don't want you in school for 48 hours after symptoms stop. We break up on Thursday so I'll miss the end of term.

It's good to see him branching out from the constraints of current design parameters.
